A practice that feels like my own
Witchcraft, priestess practice and Spiritualism meet here in my personal story. They are distinct traditions; I do not speak for everyone who follows them.
I practise mediumship within my journey of SNU Spiritualism. I am sharing personal belief and experience, without claiming official SNU accreditation or endorsement for this project.
Reflection, the natural world and a sense of connection help me make room for uncertainty. There is no requirement to be positive every day, perform resilience, or believe exactly as I do.
The Seven Principles of Spiritualism

A divine source
Recognising a creative source of life, understood through the language of God.
One human family
A commitment to kinship, mutual care and the dignity of other people.
Communication with spirit
Belief in communion with spirits and in the ministry of angels.
The soul continues
Belief that the human soul continues beyond physical death.
Responsibility for our choices
Taking responsibility for how we act and how we treat one another.
Consequences and moral growth
Understanding good and harmful actions as having consequences, including beyond this life.
Growth remains possible
Belief that every soul has an enduring opportunity to progress.
Compassion includes seeking care
Illness is not a moral failing. Spiritual responsibility does not mean blame for developing a cavernoma. Prayer, ritual and mediumship are not substitutes for neurological assessment, prescribed treatment or emergency help.
Seizures and altered awareness should be assessed medically, rather than interpreted here as evidence of spiritual contact. My beliefs and my healthcare each deserve care and honesty.
